Mitochondria - the powerhouse of the cell. I bet 99 percent of students throughout the generations have gotten that one right.
What? A sales pitch opening? Hmmmm...
I developed afib and my cardiologist put me on diltiazem and then possibly an ablation. Not one interest in diet. So I spent around 5 years with intermittent afib episodes, trusting the doctor who didn't have a clue how to cure my condition. I finally stumbled on a paper in pub med about L-arginine and taurine taken together, started doing that, and now, for around 6 months, I have never had even a single episode. NO fears of afib episodes at all. Totally stable heart rate...Cardiologists are currently literally injuring their patients with medications and their side effects and ablations when a few supplements and stopping caffeine and alcohol will create a cure. I just don't get it how such smart people in medicine can be so blind to the real cures. Big Pharma rules and it's ruining our health.
Dr. Means, with all due respect, the comment about eating what you kill is not something bad. It is the real world. There is nothing wrong with being paid for your expertise. Students go into specialities because they are more prestigious and they pay well. The prestige of being a specialist is a big driver. Personally i can't stand specialists as they have mismanaged my health care due to silo-ing and the family doctors, terrified to exercise their superpowers, defer to specialists all the time and they're basically symptom sorters who can prescribe drugs, so slightly better than Dr. Google. So many things specialists do can be done by family doctors, including care of pregnant women. I come from a long line of md specialists, who are up in arms that my son is going to be a family doctor...because he is so bright. Here is the problem with the doctors: smarter ones become specialists, dumber ones become family doctors. Frankly, family med is extremely difficult based on how much you need to know and the need to be able to put together the information. You need smarter people if you want good generalists. Patients notice how useless their family doctors are and go straight to specialists, not understanding how bad that actually is for their health. There are few medical situations where the specialists are the right ones from the start- like Ob-gyn. But headaches? It's not a trip to the neurologist immediately. Ditto weird skin tags are not a trip to the dermatologist and yet that's what we do. You sound like someone who would make a great family doctor. What a shame you were not given better advice in med school.
Great interview! Thank you!
Great interview But, “Women are as strong as men” 😅😅😅😅😅
Hi do you have link for ab bar. Can’t find
Hair loss, is due to lack of real Vitamin D, eat raw cheeses, Wild salmon, liver etc
your eather a trangender man or you use way to much testosterin homone
I just found you from a Dr. Ken Berry video. I was wondering if you could make a video about cervical dysplasia and if there are benefits from the carnivore diet to help with it. I have CIN 3 and my doctor told me I can wait and monitor it but risk it progressing to cancer or to get a hysterectomy. My LEEP had a clear endocervical margin, but ectocervical margin wasn't clear. I'm so torn about what to do but I'd love to know what you think especially regarding way diet, supplements, lifestyle can help it regress.
I just can't still accept the fact that our respected Doug sir is not with us anymore. Fortunately I had the good opportunity to meet sir in a competition and talk and also have a personally signed copy of his recent book. also have the other book Million dollar Muscle , sir coauthored with sociologist Dr.Adrian Tan that gives an excellent insight on the socio- psychological and commercialisation aspect of fitness. Thank you Dr.Jaime for doing this excellent interview, that I never knew of until today. It will be for sure be in posterity for all exercise educators to use, listen and enhance their knowledge to lift sans injuries🙏
Thank you for sharing this podcast! Dr. Roizen is so interesting and has such an amazing bio! Great interview.
Code is only for Prenatal? Doesn't work for men's!
I really had to pause this video. Bariatric surgery is the reason I was able to change my lifestyle and mentality. I would have never changed my life around. I was educated on foods, and have continued my education, that’s why I’m watching this video. I don’t have PCOS. However I’m very fascinated by how food directly correlates to illness. Bariatric allowed my whole mental process to evolve by having to withdraw from the Americanized diet.
This is such valuable information to implement everyday & its simple! Thank you!❤
Husker Power!! GBR!!
Thank you for sharing this information. A few things actually applied to me. The first time I got a thyroid panel done I had been very low carb (<20 / day) for some time. T3 was a little low and TSH normal. Current doc hasn't ordered a thyroid panel.
I heard when they check you down there it hurts a lot. Im going cause something dont feel right and its my first time and im scared af
Great talk!! So much information.
Meat will also kill you, eat eggs.
A note : this isn't just an American problem, it's endemic in the whole of First World society. This is being broadcast across the globe, so please accept it's a global issue so as we can all expose the corrupt sciences together.
Is he related to Woody Harrelson? 😂😂😂
Yikes...
What brand queso do you like???
I wish she could do workout routines on RUclips 😢❤
POTASSIUM GLUCONATE 4500 mg. A day person os MORE IMPORTANT THAN SODIUM SALT. CRAVINGS for excessive amounts of SALTS , SALTY FOODS. IS A DEFICIENCY ALARM. 😮 YOUR BODY IS LOW Level of a mineral IODINE MINERAL. JUST A drop can help. 5 drops of food grade iodine raises the Level needed in the body. Try to eat foods with iodine mineral weekly. Have a wonderful healthy life ! 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Has anyone published any charts comparing the available nutrients in beef to the various plant foods? It should be obvious which is superior. Right? I think this would be so much more useful than the endless vegan bashing.
I have made gelatin with Hibiscus brewed tea. Hibiscus is known for lowering Blood Pressure.
Carnivore way of eating works. What also works is intermittent fasting which you can combine with low-carb, carnivore or whatever you want.
It’s an odd syndrome. It’s vastly different for each woman suffering with it. And it’s so frustrating 😮 I was diagnosed based off of hirsutism and insulin resistance, but I ovulate every month and have regular periods. Never had an ultrasound on my ovaries, none of my doctors ever orders one. I guess the hair and insulin was enough criteria haha.
Although I ovulate and have periods, I do ovulate on day 20 almost every time and I have a short luteal phase/ low progesterone.
Promoting super processed supplements. Waste.
He’s the best !!
Great video! Thank you! I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea on my back mostly a few years ago. I am now 40 lbs decreased fat and increased lean mass by 3 lbs over last three years. I just repeated my sleep study. Should know my result in April. I do however still snore. I'm wondering about taping and a mouth wearable to train myself. I would love your thoughts. Thank you again. Love your podcasts 😊
Are you planning a follow up? That would be interesting to see if tweaking things based off these blood tests improves how you look, feel, and perform. Very interesting.
Great podcast! Very interesting information on Xylitol. People just need to know Xylitol is very dangerous for dogs. So please keep it away from your dogs if you have it in your house.
Interesting talk. My son has long covid aggravated insomnia.
What is your thought on meat source? Grass fed ,with non gmo ,non pesticides, tainted etc for good meat product. Also do you watch source for your perfect amino product? Thank you for this very informative interview.
Where can I buy that gym flooring? What brand is it?
I will never eat fruits and veg again. They really mess me up!
I am fully on board, 60 years old been on one meal a day Carnivore for 14 months now after watching Dr Sean Omara I have recently started sprinting, introduced fermented veggies, kefir, cold showers and saunas.I am now starting 3 days fasting 4 days feasting a week into day 2 wish me luck.
Hi crash,..👊💪🥩
@@miketaylor7305 Hi Mike
Red meat loves me back!!
Hi, I have searched and searched and cannot find anything in relation to my issue. I am 59 yr old, postmenopausal, hypothyroidism and on anastrozole for breast cancer treatment which blocks my estrogen. So this is a hormonal storm. I have been doing mostly carnivore for about 7 weeks now. I have not lost any weight but I do feel better mentally and have less inflammation. I am at a loss to what I should be doing. Can you point me in the right direction? HELP!
Your body is healing. Weight loss comes in time.
Look at Estrogen Matters by avrum bluming. You might need some alt day fasting. 42 hr fasts 3times a week works well
Love you two ❤
You don’t need protein powder of you eat enough meat.
Just came across you after listening to you and dr minkoff..fun to listen to your fridge tour..great idea for you or anyone..you said you dont eat pasta anymore. Me either, but get hearts of palm noodles! One brand is Palmini, but cheapest and freat is at Aldi. They only carry angel hair and linguini..awesome with Raos sauce and meatballs or ground beef, and parm. You wint know diff! I use in chicken 'noodle' soup too. Or any of the Palmini ones, riced hearts of palm good in soup too. I pan fry hearts of palm with broccoli and spices, and scrambled eggs, bits of bacon and italian spices or anything..great and fast!!😊
Incredible information my mom has what they call essential tremors and they are getting so bad they tested her for Parkinson’s. She is otherwise very healthy for 82 but she was a nurse and followed a lot of the nutritional recommendations thru the years. I am excited to discuss this with her and see if I can see a change in the tremors I am starting to see myself.
So Dr Seeman, no red meat?
I enjoy listening to Shawn, but he is using the wrong terminology here. LDL and HDL are not cholesterol, they are lipoproteins which are basically cholesterol’s transporters.
Also the way he uses calories as a metric of energy in the human body, which is complete and utter nonsense.
Thank you 🙏
